Guardia Nocturna is a personal service logbook for volunteer firefighters. It is built to work entirely offline, with no account and no server of ours in the loop. This page explains, in plain terms, exactly what the app does and does not do with your information.
The short version
What the app stores, and where
All records you create — acts of service, guard-night assignments and swaps, kit inventory and inspection dates, ERA/SCBA checks, courses, rank history and your compañía's own rules (claves, minimum attendance, award steps) — are saved in a private database inside the app's own storage area on your device. None of this data is transmitted anywhere by us. It is never uploaded to a server, because the app does not have one.
Camera and photo library
Guardia Nocturna asks for camera access only when you choose to photograph something yourself — a piece of gear, the stamp on a breathing-apparatus cylinder, or a course certificate — so the picture can be attached to that record. It asks for photo library access only when you choose to pick an existing picture for the same purpose, through the system picker. Photos you add are copied into the app's own storage on your device and are never sent to us or to anyone else, unless you personally choose to share or export a record using the system share sheet.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders (for example, the evening before a guard night, or a warning that a cylinder's hydrostatic test or a piece of kit's inspection is coming due), the app schedules a local notification directly on your device. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device; no reminder content is sent to or processed by any server.
Exports
When you export your logbook as CSV or PDF, the file is generated on your device and handed to the system share sheet so you can save it, print it or send it yourself. We do not receive a copy.

Children's privacy
Guardia Nocturna is intended for volunteer firefighters, typically adults holding a position within a compañía or asociación. It does not knowingly collect information from children, and in any case it collects no personal data at all, by us, on any server.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for instance, if a future version of the app adds a feature that changes what is described above — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before that version becomes available.
